The Philosophy of Light and Respect for Human Rights

The Philosophy of Light Seeks Peace Throughout the World

Regarding Jewish people, I do not take responsibility for promoting Jewish Republics, because they are not prepared for this, nor are Americans.

In Latin America, a Jewish sect came to violate human rights, and Jewish people have acquired a very negative reputation. Jews living in the Americas do not identify themselves as Jewish outside their own communities; they are known as such within their communities, but they do not go around converting Christians to Judaism, nor are Christians interested in becoming Jewish after Jesus was crucified.

Lev Tahor is an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community founded in the 1980s that faces serious international allegations of human trafficking, child abuse, and forced marriages. The press has referred to the group as the “Jewish Taliban” because the women wear black clothing that covers them completely.

In Latin America, such human rights violations are not accepted. I do not know whether minors are forcibly married in Israel.

Presence and Operations in Guatemala

  • The group lived in Sololá, in Guatemala City, and in Oratorio, Santa Rosa.
  • In December 2024, police rescued 160 minors in Santa Rosa after receiving reports of abuse.
  • Authorities arrested several leaders of the community on charges related to human trafficking and child abuse.

International Situation

  • The sect has also operated in countries such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Colombia.
  • Several leaders have convictions in the United States for kidnapping and sexual exploitation.

The Fifth Criminal Sentencing Court of Guatemala ruled that the extradition to Mexico of Yoel Malka, one of the members and leaders of the Lev Tahor sect, was admissible. (2026)

Extradition Details and Charges

  • Reason for the request: Mexican authorities are seeking him for the crimes of human trafficking (in the form of forced marriage) and organized crime. Investigations point to abuses allegedly committed against minors approximately 14 years of age.
  • Arrest: Malka had previously been arrested in Guatemala City in February 2026 through an operation involving Interpol.
  • Current status: Although the accused declared his innocence during the hearing, the court validated the documents submitted by Mexico. The process will now continue before Guatemala’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate his official transfer.

(Note: Previously, another high-ranking member with a similar name, Yoel Alter, also faced extradition proceedings to Mexico for similar offenses involving trafficking and child abuse in camps in the state of Chiapas.)

During the extensive operations conducted at the Lev Tahor sect’s property in Oratorio, Santa Rosa, Guatemalan authorities found skeletal remains and graves within the property.

Details of the Findings

  • Grave and remains of a minor: During the initial inspections in December 2024, the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the National Civil Police reported the discovery of skeletal remains that were presumed to belong to a minor. Subsequently, in May 2025, the remains of a baby approximately one year old buried within the complex were confirmed to have been located.
  • The sect’s justification: At the time the findings were made at the El Amatillo property, the community’s leaders claimed that they had a legal permit issued in 2023 by the Ministry of Environment allowing them to operate a private cemetery within their facilities, in an attempt to justify the burials.
  • Investigation: Despite the permits presented by the group, prosecutors have kept the criminal investigations open in order to determine the exact causes of death of the minors buried there and establish whether they died as a result of medical negligence, malnutrition, or physical abuse arising from the sect’s strict regime of isolation.

Regarding Islamic Republics, I also do not take responsibility for promoting them because of the problems involving terrorist and insurgent groups associated with Islamic extremism in Africa, including attacks and massacres against Christian populations, as well as the conflict between the Islamic Republic and the United States.

Another factor is the conflict between Israel and Palestine, as well as other conflicts in the Middle East between Jewish and Islamic communities. The two religious currents have attacked one another in an inhumane manner.

The intention of the Philosophy of Light is to encourage these fundamentalist religious movements to evolve toward peace and respect for human rights at the international level.
